Clos SS23 Collection
The sandals with interchangeable jewels have a strong connection with the history of my island: Sardinia. The Greeks called Sardinia “Sardò”, connecting it to Sardo, son of Heracles who according to the myth would have arrived on the island at the head of Libyan colonizers. Sardinia was also called by the Greeks “Ichnussa”, from the Greek ichnos which means human footprint, from which also comes “Sandaliotis”, from sandalion which means sandal.
Crafted in Italy by artisans, in soft black calfskin, with interchangeable band and strap. The band features a hook to attach jewel accessories.
